To Market, To Market - Take 1

I love markets. I know they smell and you might see things that you have never seen before but I just look the variety, the colours, and the atmosphere. I decided to go through my market pictures and give you a picture "taste" of the markets.

Project Green - Take 7

As I continued walking home, I found the garbage cans. Here we have green garbage cans throughout the village and that is where we put our trash.

Project Green - Take 6

On my way back from running to the post office I was walking past the playground and saw this green slide. What fun to twist and turn on your way down -- whee!

Project Green Take 5

We had a post a letter yesterday. Here is a mailbox here. Yes, the letter boxes are green with purple. The uniforms are green as well.

Oh, my, I wish I lived in our old city becuase that was Evergreen's headquarters and if you want to see green that would be their building, uniforms, everything about them is green.

Project Green - Take 4

As the colour was announced, green, I began to think what do I have that is green. I don't seem to have much green around my house. Then I went to get my morning coffee and realized that cup is green. Okay, it is lime green and wakes you up in the morning. Then I realized that my afternoon coffee cup (yes, I have a different cup for afternoon coffee) was also green. The LA cup is heavy and maybe that is why I don't use it in the morning.

Here is an interesting memory of green. I worked in manufacturing and one year green was the in colour. Do you know how many variations of green there are? We had spruce green for Europe but the USA wanted something just a bit different shade and so we hade evergreen for the USA market. Pause and think of all the greens and names -- spruce green, evergreen, kelly green, pine green, light green, yellow green, lime green, and then just plain green.

Project Green - Take 3

The taxis here are three different colours depending on where you live. Our area has green taxis, downtown area has red, and the airport area has blue. I don't think I have ever been in a blue taxi. I do know that green are cheaper than red. Green taxis will not travel into the area where red taxi are. They will take you to an area and you can change to a red taxi. There are times that red taxis are here and if you want to go to a red area you can get a red taxi.

Project Green - Take 2

Exits - We were running around this morning. It is interesting to note that the exit signs are in green.

Project Green - Take 1

I enjoy going to the wet market. I love the look of all the greens in this picture.

Project Looking Through - Take 4

I think I am shocked that I found an escalator in this city with no one on it. I think that is amazing considering how many people live here.
